Courses
How does your course fit with my study program? Please refer to your faculty and examination office for an authoritative answer.
Do you give "good" or "bad" grades? Neither. I try to establish a fair and transparent system which will be discussed in the course.
Can I participate in a course as a guest? Yes. The university has a "Gasthörerprogramm". If you cannot be placed within this program please drop by at the beginning of the term. A solution will be found.
Can I get a certificate as a guest? No. University certificates can only be given to students registered with the university.
Supervision
Can you supervise my term paper, Diploma or PH.D. thesis? In principle yes, but I decide that on a case by case basis. If you think I could be the right supervisor for you, contact me.
Which criteria should an idea for a thesis meet? I supervise only empirical theses within organizational psychology and its background in general psychology (e.g. decision and thought).
Which previous theses under your supervision are good demos what to expect? The theses of Karin Hellriegel, Lars Broszat, and Katrin Warnke are good examples of lab, field and internet studies I liked. You find them in the library.
Contact I have no fixed business hours but vou can reach me by email anytime. The best, however, is to drop by after a course. Its face to face and a good way to immediately settle small matters, give a signature or arrange a date for a longer meeting.
